3. How SockMatch Uses Artificial Intelligence

The photograph is passed through Newly AI to Google's Gemini AI model for analysis.

SockMatch's own processing server does not save or retain copies of submitted photographs after processing.
AI-generated results may not always be accurate.
4. Photograph Storage
Photographs from scanned laundry batches are saved locally within SockMatch's private application storage on your device.
This allows you to view photographs associated with previous laundry batches after closing and reopening the application.
These photographs are not automatically added to your device's general photo library.
Other ordinary applications cannot directly access SockMatch's private application storage.
SockMatch's own processing server does not maintain a permanent collection of uploaded photographs.
However, photographs submitted for AI analysis pass through external service providers whose processing and retention practices may differ from SockMatch's own server practices.
